Management of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis

Fluticasone furoate, a synthetic trifluorinated corticosteroid, has potent anti-inflammatory activity. Corticosteroids have been shown to inhibit mast cells, eosinophils, basophils, lymphocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils. They also inhibit production or secretion of cell mediators such as histamine, leukotrienes, cytokines, and eicosanoids.

Excretion in breast milk unknown/use caution

headache, pharyngitis, nasal congestion, cough, pharyngolaryngeal pain

2 sprays (27.5 mcg/spray) in each nostril once daily (110 mcg/day). Total daily dosage should not exceed 2 sprays in each nostril (110 mcg)/day. shake well before each use.
