Antibiotic, Penicillin

Amoxicillin:
Distribution: poor cerebrospinal fluid penetration.
Protein binding: ~20%.
Half-life elimination: 61.3 minutes.
Time to peak: 1 to 2 hours.
Excretion: Urine.
Clavulanic acid:
Distribution: 0.368 ± 0.014 L/kg.
Protein binding: ~25%.
Half-life elimination: 1 hour.
Time to peak: 1.5 hours.
Excretion: Urine.

Hypersensitivity to β-lactams (penicillins, cephalosporins); history of jaundice/hepatic dysfunction associated with AUGMENTIN or penicillin.

>10%: diarrhea (3% to 34%).
<10%: rash, nausea (2% to 3%), vomiting (1% to 2%), vaginal mycosis (3%), vaginitis (1%), abdominal distress, flatulence, thrombocytosis, headache.

Adults and children over 12 years: For mild to moderate infections: Take one tablet every 12 hours.

Curam 1000 mg should only be used in patients with a glomerular filtration rate greater than 30 ml/min.

It must be administered with caution and liver function monitoring should be carried out regularly.
