Preparations of calcipotriol are indicated for the treatment of moderate plaque psoriasis. Other therapeutic uses include congenital ichthyosis, hereditary epidermolytic palmoplantar keratoderma, pityriasis rubra, and pustular psoriasis.
藥理
The effectiveness of topical calcipotriol in the treatment of psoriasis results mainly from inhibition of epidermal proliferation and stimulation of differentiation of epidermal cells. Although calcipotriol appears to exert a significantly lesser effect on calcium metabolism than does calcitriol, some investigators feel there is no advantage in using topical calcipotriol over topical calcitriol in psoriasis patients.
