【藥品性質提示】 根據 2019 AGS Beers Criteria，本藥品為【潛在不適當用藥 (PIM)】，用於老年人時須謹慎使用(監測血鈉值)。

高血壓 (diuretics) 利尿劑 (thiazide) Hypertension, edema due to congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, chronic renal disease and corticosteroid therapy

The primary action of the thiazides is to increase diuresis by blocking the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in the distal tubule and therefore an accompanying amount of water.

Onset: approximately 1 to 2 hours
Peak Response: 3 to 6 hours
Duration: approximately 24 hr
Elimination Half-life: 2.3hr

Anuria, hypersensitivity to trichlormethiazide or other sulfonamides.

Infant risk cannot be ruled out

Nausea, flushing of face, hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hyperuricemia

2-4mg/day

Dosage reduction may be required in patients with compromised renal function.
