濕疹 Relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses

Fluticasone propionate is a glucocorticoid with high topical anti-inflammatory potency but low HPA-axis suppressive activity after dermal administration. It therefore has a therapeutic index which is greater than most of the commonly available steroids.

Absorption: 5% (increased with inflammation)

1. Untreated cutaneous infections; Rosacea; Acne vulgaris; Perioral dermatitis; Perianal and genital pruritus
2. Pruritus without inflammation
3. Dermatoses in infants under 3 months of age, including dermatitis and nappy rash

Excretion in breast milk unknown/use caution

Pruritus (common), Local skin burning (uncommon)

For adults, Children >3 months: Apply sparingly to affected area 1-2 times/day. If no improvement is seen within 2 weeks, reassessment of diagnosis may be necessary.
