Allergic rhinitis.
Perennial allergic rhinitis.
Upper respiratory tract allergy.

Cetirizine:
Competes with histamine for H1-receptor sites on effector cells in the gastrointestinal tract, blood vessels, and respiratory tract. Pseudoephedrine:
Directly stimulates alpha-adrenergic receptors of respiratory mucosa causing vasoconstriction;
directly stimulates beta-adrenergic receptors causing bronchial relaxation, increased heart rate and contractility.

Elimination Half Life:
Cetirizine: 7.9hr Pseudoephedrine: 6.0hr

Coronary artery disease, severe
Hypersensitivity to cetirizine, pseudoephedrine or sympathomimetics
Hypertension, severe
MAOI therapy

Fetal risk cannot be ruled out. (TH)

Cetirizine and Pseudoephedrine are present in breast milk.

Common:
Cardiovascular: Hypertension, Tachyarrhythmia Gastrointestinal: Xerostomia Neurologic: Insomnia, Asthenia, Headache, Sedated, Somnolence Other: Fatigue

1 cap twice a day.

?12 years and Adolescents: Refer to adult dosing.
The safety of children under the age of 12 have not been established.

GFR >50 mL/minute: No dosage adjustment necessary.
GFR ?50 mL/minute: 1 Cap once daily
Intermittent hemodialysis: 1 Cap once daily; 1Cap 3 times per week may also be effective.
Peritoneal dialysis: 1Cap once daily.

There are no dosage adjustments provided in the manufacturer's labeling.
