治療心絞痛 Stable angina, Prophylaxis

1. Isosorbide mononitrate, the major active metabolite of isosorbide dinitrate, is an organic nitrate used to prevent angina.
2. It exerts its effect by relaxing vascular smooth muscles resulting in dilatation of peripheral arteries and veins.

Concomitant use of phosphodiesterase inhibitors used to treat erectile dysfunction, such as sildenafil, tadalafil, or vardenafil
