【藥品性質提示】 根據 2019 AGS Beers Criteria，本藥品為【潛在不適當用藥 (PIM)】，不建議用於老年人。 GFR <30 mL/min 以下之慢性腎臟疾病病人，建議勿處方本品 (NSAID)。

Metabolism:
1. Hepatic; significant enterohepatic recirculation; metabolites include desmethyl, desbenzoyl and desmethyl-desbenzoyl (all in unconjugated form)
2. Half-life elimination: (Neonates) 11-20 hours; (Adults) 2.6-11.2 hours
Excretion:
Urine (60%, primarily as glucuronide conjugates); feces (33%, primarily as metabolites; 1.5% as unchanged drug)

1. Hypersensitivity (eg, anaphylactic reactions, serious skin reactions) to indomethacin or any component of the formulation
2. Use in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery
3. History of asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAID agents

The chronic use of NSAIDs in women of reproductive age may be associated with infertility that is reversible upon discontinuation of the medication.

NSAIDs may be used in postpartum women who wish to breastfeed; however, agents other than indomethacin are preferred.

Children ≥2 years (limited data available): 1 to 2 mg/kg/day in 2 to 4 divided doses; maximum 4 mg/kg/day or 200 mg/day, whichever is less.
