Postherpetic neuralgia

Lidocaine is an amide-type local anesthetic agent and is suggested to stabilize neuronal membranes by inhibiting the ionic fluxes required for the initiation and conduction of impulses.

Topical absorption: 3%; Onset: 2~3hrs; t1/2: 1.35~2.48hrs

Known history of sensitivity to local anesthesia of the amide type.

Lidopat has not been studied in nursing mothers.

Mild & transient local site reactions: erythema, edema, bruising, papules, vesicles, discoloration, depigmentation, burning sensation, pruritus, dermatitis, petechia, blisters, exfoliation or abnormal sensation.

Apply to intact skin up to 3 patches TOPICALLY at one time, and remove patch after a maximum of 12 hr of application within a 24 hr period.
