Buclizine acts centrally to suppress nausea and vomiting

Initial Response Motion sickness, oral: 30 minutes

1) Early pregnancy 2) Hypersensitivity to buclizine or other product components

Fetal risk cannot be ruled out.

Infant risk cannot be ruled out.

Weight gain, Constipation, Xerostomia, dizziness, tiredness, drowsiness, headache, agitation or a jittery sensation

Buclizine 50 milligrams will usually be sufficient to alleviate nausea; up to 150 milligrams/day in 3 divided doses may be taken in severe cases. the usual maintenance dose of buclizine is 50 milligrams twice a day. for motion sickness prophylaxis, buclizine 50 milligrams should be taken at least 30 minutes prior to travel.
