【藥品性質提示】 根據 2019 AGS Beers Criteria，本藥品為【潛在不適當用藥 (PIM)】，不建議用於有骨折風險之老年人(除非用於癲癇、調節情緒)，腎功能不佳 (CrCl<60mL/min) 須降低劑量。

治療神經痛、癲癇 Postherpetic neuralgia, Management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, Management of fibromyalgia; Adjunctive therapy for adult patients with partial onset seizures

GABA Analog, anticonvulsant
Pregabalin binds with high affinity to the alpha2-delta site (an auxiliary subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels) in central nervous system tissues, inhibiting excitatory neurotransmitter release. Although structurally related to GABA, it does not bind to GABA or benzodiazepine receptors.

1. Oral bioavailability: ≥90%
2. Eliination half-life: 6.3 hrs, 90% excreted unchanged in the urine
3. Dialyzable: yes (hemodialysis), 50% removed after 4 hour dialysis treatment

1. In patients with known hypersensitivity to pregabalin or any of its components.
2. Angioedema and hypersensitivity reactions have occurred in patients receiving pregabalin therapy

Dizziness, Somnolence, Peripheral edema, Weight gain, Dry mouth

Neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy:
1. Begin dosing at 75 mg two times a day or 50 mg three times a day (150mg/day)
2. MAX dose : 300 mg/day, in patients with CrCl ≥60mL/min.
Postherpetic neuralgia:
1. Begin dosing at 75 mg two times a day, or 50 mg three times a day (150 mg/day).
2. The dose may be increased to 300 mg/day within 1 week based on efficacy and tolerability in patients with CrCl ≥60mL/min.
Adjunctive therapy for adult patients with partial onset seizures:
1. Started on a total daily dose no greater than 150 mg/day (75 mg two times a day, or 50 mg three times a day).
2. MAX dose: 600 mg/day, in patients with CrCl ≥60mL/min
Management of Fibromyalgia:
1. Begin dosing at 75 mg two times a day (150 mg/day)
2. MAX dose: 450 mg/day, in patients with CrCl ≥60mL/min
