皮膚用抗感染 Topical treatment of tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), tinea corporis (ringworm), and tinea versicolor

Butenafine is a benzylamine anti-fungal agent and exerts anti-fungal activity by blocking squalene epoxidation, resulting in inhibition of ergosterol synthesis; in higher concentrations, the drug disrupts fungal cell membranes.

Absorption: Minimal systemic
Metabolism: Hepatic via hydroxylation
Half-life elimination: 35 hours

Hypersensitivity to butenafine or any component of the formulation

Do not apply to breast if breast-feeding

burning, stinging, irritation, erythema, pruritus; contact dermatitis

Apply topically to affected areas once or twice daily
Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes.

Children >12 years: Refer to adult dosing
