Phenprobamate is metabolized by oxidative degradation of the carbamate group and ortho-hydroxylation of the benzene ring, and is eliminated in urine by the kidneys.

The safety is uncertain in pregnant women and infants, should take into account the risk and benefits of treatment to the mother.

Avoid use

Rash, dizziness, headache, nausea, loss of appetite, constipation, stomachache. (仿單)

Doses range from 400 to 800 mg, up to 3 tabs a day.
