Onset of action: 24 to 72 hours
Absorption: Poorly absorbed
Excretion: Feces (as unchanged drug)

Hypersensitivity to nystatin products.

Absorption following oral use is poor.

Excretion into breast milk is not known; however, absorption following oral use is poor.

Common: Diarrhea, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting
Postmarketing: Hypersensitivity reaction

4 to 6 mL (400KU to 600KU) orally 4 times daily for 7 to 14 days; continue treatment for at least 48 hours after clinical cure

Infants: 2 mL (200,000 units) ORALLY 4 times/day
Children: 4 to 6 mL (400,000 to 600,000 units) ORALLY (retained in mouth as long as possible prior to swallowing) 4 times daily
