Micafungin 是一種 Echinocandin 類抗真菌藥物，透過抑制真菌細胞壁 β-(1,3)-D-葡聚醣的合成，干擾真菌細胞壁的完整性，從而發揮抗真菌作用。

Micafungin is an Echinocandin antifungal agent that works by inhibiting the synthesis of β-(1,3)-D-glucan, an essential component of the fungal cell wall, thereby disrupting cell wall integrity.

Micafungin 通過靜脈給藥吸收後，迅速分布至組織中，主要在肝臟代謝，最後以代謝物形式經糞便排出。

After IV administration, micafungin is rapidly distributed into tissues, metabolized primarily in the liver, and excreted mainly in feces as metabolites.

對 Micafungin 或其任何成分有過敏史的患者禁用。

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to micafungin or any of its components.

動物研究顯示，Micafungin 可能導致內臟畸形及流產。僅當對胎兒的潛在利益明顯大於潛在風險時，才可在懷孕期間使用。

Animal studies have shown that micafungin may cause visceral malformations and abortion. Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.

目前尚不清楚 Micafungin 是否會分泌至人乳中，使用時應謹慎。

It is unknown whether micafungin is excreted in human milk; use with caution in breastfeeding women.

常見副作用包括腹瀉、噁心、嘔吐、低血糖、發熱、高鉀血症。

Common adverse effects include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, hypoglycemia, fever, and hyperkalemia.

僅供靜脈輸注，通常以 1 小時內緩慢注射。劑量依適應症而異，如下所示：
• 念珠菌血症及其他念珠菌感染：100 mg 一天一次。
• 食道念珠菌感染：150 mg 一天一次。
• 預防造血幹細胞移植病人的念珠菌感染：50-100 mg 一天一次。

Administer by IV infusion over 1 hour. Dosage varies by indication:
• Candidemia and other Candida infections: 100 mg once daily.
• Esophageal candidiasis: 150 mg once daily.
• Prophylaxis of Candida infections in HSCT patients: 50-100 mg once daily.

4 個月以上的兒童劑量依體重而定：
• 念珠菌血症等感染：2 mg/kg 一天一次（最高劑量 100 mg）。
• 食道念珠菌感染：3 mg/kg（體重超過 30 kg 為 2.5 mg/kg），一天一次（最高劑量 150 mg）。
• 預防造血幹細胞移植病人的念珠菌感染：1 mg/kg 一天一次（最高劑量 50 mg）。

Dosage for children over 4 months varies by weight:
• Candidemia and other infections: 2 mg/kg once daily (maximum 100 mg/day).
• Esophageal candidiasis: 3 mg/kg (2.5 mg/kg if over 30 kg) once daily (maximum 150 mg/day).
• Prophylaxis in HSCT patients: 1 mg/kg once daily (maximum 50 mg/day).

腎功能不全患者不需調整劑量。

No dosage adjustment is necessary for patients with renal impairment.

輕度至重度肝功能不全患者不需調整劑量。

No dosage adjustment is necessary for patients with mild to severe hepatic impairment.
