Pseudoephedrine acts as a decongestant by stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors of vascular smooth muscle, thus constricting dilated arterioles within the nasal mucosa and reducing blood flow to the engorged area/Triprolidine is a member of the propylamine (alkylamine) chemical class of H-1 antagonist antihistamines.

Gastrointestinal: Xerostomia
Neurologic: Anxiety, Feeling nervous, Restlessness ,Sedated Insomnia
Respiratory: Nasal mucosa dry, Pharyngeal dryness, Thick sputum, Bronchial
Cardiovascular: Hypertension, Tachyarrhythmia
Serious:
Cardiovascular: Atrial fibrillation, Myocardial infarction, Ventricular premature beats.

1tab ORALLY every 4 to 6 h

6 to 12 y: 0.5 tab ORALLY every 4 to 6 h
2 to 6 y: 0.25 tab ORALLY every 4 to 6 h (MDX)

Doses should be adjusted in patients with decreased kidney function.
