Immune globulin (human) is a sterile and nonpyrogenic preparation of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies obtained from large pools of human plasma. Improve immune ability. It is used to provide temporary immunity.

Immune globulin intravenous should be administered with caution to patients with antibodies against IgA or selective IgA deficiencies. It is also a contraindication to patients who are known to have had an anaphylactic or severe systemic reaction following previous administration.

Immune globulin is endogenous to breast milk. According to the manufacturer, the decision to continue or discontinue breastfeeding during therapy should take into account the risks and benefits.
Immune globulin is considered compatible with breastfeeding (WHO 2002).

1. Comon: Local tenderness, erythema, flushing and back pain; anaphylactic reactions ; hemorrhage, anemia; nausea.

1. Primary immunodeficiency: 200-600 mg/kg once monthly IV.
2. Kawasaki disease: total dose 1.6-2.0 gm/kg IV, given within 3-5 days. Administered at rate of 1 ml/min, if tolerated, the rate may be gradually increased to 3-4 ml/min.
3. Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP): 0.8-1gm/kg IV once daily for 2 days or 0.4 gm/kg once daily for 2-5 days.

Should be stored at <25℃. Do not freeze. Any vial that has been entered should be used promptly and partially used vials should be discarded. It contains no preservative.
