氣喘或慢性阻塞性肺病 Budesonide is a glucocorticosteroid with a high local anti-inflammatory effect. It is indicated in patients with bronchial asthma who require maintenance treatment to control the underlying airway inflammation.

Budesonide is a synthetic, nonhalogenated corticosteroid that has potent glucocorticoid and weak mineralocorticoid activity.

After beginning treatment with inhaled, clinical improvement may occur within 24 hours. Maximum improvement occurs in 3 to 7 days for the nasal product and 1 to 2 weeks for the inhaled product. After beginning treatment with the inhalation suspension, improvement may occur between 2 and 8 days but maximum improvement may take 2 to 8 weeks.

Hypersensitivity to budesonide; status asthmaticus or other acute episodes of asthma

Not known whether budesonide is distributed in milk.1 Caution is advised if the drug is administered in nursing women.

Body aches or pain, chills, congestion, cough, diarrhea, dryness or soreness of the throat, fever, general feeling of discomfort or illness, headache, hoarseness, joint pain, loss of appetite, muscle aches and pains, nausea, pain or tenderness around the eyes and cheekbones, shivering, shortness of breath or troubled breathing, sneezing, sore throat, stuffy or runny nose, sweating, tender, swollen glands in the neck, tightness of the chest or wheezing, trouble with sleeping, trouble with swallowing, unusual tiredness or weakness, voice changes, vomiting.

Adults: 200-1600 μg/day, 2-4 administrations; children > 6 years: 200-800 μg daily, divided into 2-4 administrations.
