【藥品性質提示】 根據 2019 AGS Beers Criteria，本藥品為【潛在不適當用藥 (PIM)】，不建議用於老年人 (除非用於思覺失調、雙極症、或化療止吐)。

Stimulate gastric emptying, significant relief of nausea, vomiting, anorexia & abdominal fullness, prevention of cancer chemotherapy-induced emesis.

Onset of action: Oral: 30-60 minutes; I.V.: 1-3 minutes; I.M.: 10-15 minutes; Therapeutic Duration: 1-2 hrs; Excretion: Urine (~85%)

Hypersensitivity to metoclopramide or any component of the formulation; GI obstruction, perforation or hemorrhage; pheochromocytoma; history of seizures or concomitant use of other agents likely to increase extrapyramidal reaction.

Enters breast milk/use caution; It is suggested no breast feeding after use metoclopramide 2 to 6 hours, and the whole feeding duration keep within 10 to 14 days.

Body fluid retention, diarrhea, extrapyramidal reaction, Asthenia, Headache , Somnolence. gynecomastia, hyperprolactinemia.

For the prevention of cancer chemotherapy-induced emesis, IV infusion 2mg/kg is given initially 30 minutes before administration of a highly emetogenic drug and repeated twice at 2 hour intervals following the initial dose.
