Decreases the surface tension of gas bubbles thereby disperses and prevents gas pockets in the GI system.

1.hypersensitivity to simethicone products
2.known or suspected intestinal perforation and obstruction

Dimethicone is not absorbed systemically following topical administration.

1.Gas pain / gastrointestinal discomfort: 20 mg 4 times daily (Infants and Children <2 years weighing <10.9 kg),40 mg 4 times daily(Children <2 years weighing ≥10.9 kg and Children ≥2 to <12 years),40 to 125 mg 4 times daily (Children ≥12 years and Adolescents)
