Dysuria, symptomatic relief
Symptomatic relief of pain, burning, urgency, frequency, and other discomforts arising from irritation of the lower urinary tract mucosa caused by infection, trauma, surgery, endoscopic procedures, or the passage of sounds or catheters.

Analgesic, Urinary
An azo dye which exerts local anesthetic or analgesic action on urinary tract mucosa through an unknown mechanism

Excretion: Urine (66% as unchanged drug)

1. Renal insufficiency, severe liver disease, chronic glomerulonephritis, bacteremia
2. Hypersensitivity to phenazopyridine or any component of the formulation

B; Phenazopyridine crosses the placenta and can be detected in amniotic fluid

Contraindicated (may cause methemoglobinemia, sulfhemoglobinemia, and hemolytic anemia; especially with an infant under 1 month of age or with G-6-PD deficiency)

1% to 10%: Stomach upset, Headache, dizziness.
<1%: Acute renal failure, methemoglobinemia, hemolytic anemia, hepatitis, rash, skin pigmentation, vertigo

3~4 tablets 3 times daily with or after meals
Use caution in patients with G6PD deficiency, hemolytic anemia may occur in the setting of chronic overdose

Use is contraindicated in patients with renal impairment
