Six healthy male subjects were administered 100 mg of this product or 120 mg of B1-HCl dissolved in 20 ml of physiological saline. The changes in blood concentration, urine excretion, and enzyme levels after intravenous injection were compared. The results showed that this product had higher and more sustained blood concentrations than B1-HCl, but a lower urinary excretion rate, indicating that this product has greater retention.
