With a known allergy to any component of this vaccine, or who has previously experienced an allergic reaction after receiving diphtheria/tetanus/pertussis vaccine, inactivated polio vaccine, or Hib vaccine.Children who have experienced unexplained encephalopathy within 7 days of receiving a vaccine containing pertussis should not use Infanrix-IPV+Hib.

The primary vaccination schedule begins at two months of age, with three doses administered before six months of age, with at least one month between doses. A booster dose is recommended in the second year of life, but should be given at least six months after the primary vaccination. Administer a deep intramuscular injection into the anterolateral thigh. Ideally, each dose should be administered in a different location. Caution with patients with thrombocytopenia or bleeding disorders, as these patients may experience bleeding after intramuscular injection. After injection, apply firm pressure (do not rub) to the injection site for at least two minutes.
