成人和1歲或以上兒童的流行性感冒之預防。

Antiviral Agent; Neuraminidase Inhibitor

Absorption: Well absorbed.
Distribution: Adults: Oseltamivir carboxylate: 23 to 26 L; may be significantly increased in patients receiving ECMO.
Protein binding, plasma: Oseltamivir carboxylate: 3%; Oseltamivir: 42%.
Metabolism: Hepatic (90%) to oseltamivir carboxylate; neither the parent drug nor active metabolite has any effect on the cytochrome P450 system.
Bioavailability: 75% as oseltamivir carboxylate.
Half-life elimination: Adults: Oseltamivir: 1 to 3 hours; Oseltamivir carboxylate: 6 to 10 hours.
Excretion: Urine (>99% as oseltamivir carboxylate); feces (<20%).

Hypersensitivity to oseltamivir or any component of the formulation.

Oseltamivir and oseltamivir carboxylate (OC) are present in breast milk.

>10%: vomiting (2% to 16%), headache (adolescents and adults: 2% to 17%).
1% to 10%: nausea (adolescents and adults: 8% to 10%), pain (adolescents and adults: 4%).

Influenza, seasonal, prophylaxis: 75 mg once daily for 1 to 2 weeks.
Influenza, seasonal, treatment: 75 mg twice daily for 5 days.
Influenza A, avian (H7N9 or H5N1), treatment/prophylaxis: 75 mg twice daily for 5 to 10 days.

Influenza, treatment:
Infants ≤8 months: 3 mg/kg/dose twice daily.
Infants ≥9 months: 3.5 or 3 mg/kg/dose twice daily.
≤15 kg: 30 mg twice daily.
>15 to 23 kg: 45 mg twice daily.
>23 to 40 kg: 60 mg twice daily.
>40 kg: 75 mg twice daily.

Influenza, prophylaxis:
Infants 3 to 8 months: 3 mg/kg/dose once daily.
Infants ≥9 months: 3.5 or 3 mg/kg/dose once daily.
≤15 kg: 30 mg once daily.
>15 kg to 23 kg: 45 mg once daily.
>23 kg to 40 kg: 60 mg once daily.
>40 kg: Oral: 75 mg once daily.

CrCl >60 mL/minute: No dosage adjustment necessary.
CrCl >30 to 60 mL/minute: 75 mg loading dose, followed by 30 mg twice daily.
CrCl >10 to 30 mL/minute: 30 mg once daily.
ESRD not undergoing dialysis: Use is not recommended.

Mild-to-moderate impairment: No dosage adjustment necessary.
Severe impairment: No dosage adjustment provided in manufacturer's labeling.

Store the capsules at 25 degree; excursions permitted to 15 to 30 degree.
Store constituted oral suspension under refrigeration for up to 5 days at 2 to 8 degree. Do not freeze.
