藥動學
1. Absorption: Absorbed via an active transport mechanism. Unlike ferrous salts, its absorption is not affected by food and is regulated by the body's iron requirements. 2. Distribution: Transported via transferrin to the bone marrow for hemoglobin synthesis or stored as ferritin in the liver and spleen. 3. Elimination: Unabsorbed iron is excreted via feces.
禁忌症
Iron overload (hemochromatosis); non-iron deficiency anemias; hypersensitivity.
懷孕分類
Category B (or equivalent). Clinical studies in pregnant women after the first trimester have shown no adverse effects on the mother or newborn. Usage in the first trimester is generally considered unlikely to cause harm, but should be used only if clearly needed.
哺乳分類
Iron is naturally present in breast milk. It is considered safe to use during breastfeeding, as it is unlikely to cause adverse effects in the nursing infant.
副作用
Darkened stools (common/benign), constipation, diarrhea, or nausea.
劑量和給藥方法
Adults: Oral 50 to 300 mg/day as a single dose or in divided doses Administration: Preferably taken during or immediately after meals to improve tolerance. Tablets can be chewed or swallowed whole.

Children 1 to <12 years: Oral 25 to 100 mg/day as a single dose or in divided doses. Children ?12 years, Adolescents: Oral 50 to 300 mg/day as a single dose or in divided doses.
腎功能調整劑量
No specific dose adjustment is generally required, but use with caution in patients with severe renal disease.
肝功能調整劑量
Use with caution; avoid in patients with hepatic conditions associated with iron overload.
安定性
Store at 15°C to 30°C; protect from light and moisture.
